From the very beginning, rest was holy and designed into our spiritual DNA.

As you arrive and settle in, we begin this journey the way God intended: from a place of rest, not hustle. You’ll have time to unwind, breathe deeply, and release what you’ve been carrying.

Whether it’s through a peaceful walk on the beach, a quiet moment with your journal, or connecting with other travelers, this is your invitation to simply receive. You’ll also have the option to book a private relaxation massage during your free time this week (optional add-on, limited availability), creating space for deeper restoration if your body is asking for more.

We’ll gather for a welcome dinner as the sun sets over Maui and begin aligning our hearts with the rhythm of rest.

The first words God spoke over creation were words of light, and that light still speaks to us today.

We begin our journey with sunrise worship on the beach, as the morning light stretches across the water and the whisper of God’s presence calls us to focus in on who He is. There’s something sacred about meeting God in the quiet of a new day, with sand beneath your feet and His Word in your heart. As the sun rises, we reflect on what it means to allow God's light into the parts of our hearts that we have been keeping hidden in the dark.

This is a day for fresh clarity, honest reflection, and holy perspective.

When God called forth the land, He also brought life from it — trees, fruit, and growth in all its forms. Today we’ll explore the richness of Maui’s landscape through a full-day island journey that reflects that wild, creative beauty.

Winding roads, black sand beaches, and amazing waterfalls become more than just sights to see. They become moments to notice what God is growing in you.

A full-day Road to Hana experience is available as an optional add-on for those who want to immerse themselves in the island’s untamed beauty and sacred stillness.

The sun, moon, and stars were placed with intention: to mark the seasons, guide our days, and remind us that God holds it all in motion.

Today is about paying attention: not just to the sky above us, but to the rhythms within us. As we slow down and notice the way creation moves in perfect timing, we’re invited to consider where God may be calling us to align more closely with His timing too.

We’ll end the day watching the sun slip below the horizon — not just a beautiful view, but a reminder of God’s steady hand, His faithful patterns, and the promises that never fade.

Today is about wonder. As we explore the vibrant waters just steps from our retreat home, we’ll slip beneath the surface and experience the beauty that often goes unseen — schools of fish, coral, color, and quiet. You’ll have space to notice what God has hidden in plain sight.

Snorkel gear will be available to rent for the week (optional add-on), giving you the freedom to enter the water during open beach time and explore at your own pace.

It’s a reminder that you were created for depth and awe in your relationship with Him. And sometimes, worship looks like letting yourself delight in what God made — and called good.

On the final day of creation, God formed humanity and said, “It is very good.”

As we close the week, we reflect on what it means to be made in His image, to carry His Spirit, and to walk with the kind of authority and compassion that flows from knowing who we are in Him.

We celebrate this truth together with a joyful evening luau, marking the transformation that’s taken place not just around us, but within us.

This is a day to rest in the truth that being made by God means being made for something holy.
